Asia Cup 2022 schedule announced; India to take on Pakistan on August 28 in Dubai

The much-awaited Asia Cup 2022 is set to begin from August 27. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah took to social media on August 2 to announce the schedule of the event. Shah took to social media to share the schedule of the event and said it would be an ideal preparation for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 scheduled to be played in Australia.
"The wait is finally over as the battle for Asian supremacy commences on 27th August with the all-important final on 11th September.
The 15th edition of the Asia Cup will serve as ideal preparation ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup," Shah tweeted.Asia Cup 2022 will be played in UAE. Rohit Sharma-led India will play its opening match against Pakistan on August 28.
