
A detailed discussion was held with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare J.P. Nadda on the prevailing political and security situation in Jammu & Kashmir, along with key issues concerning the people of the Union Territory.
During the meeting, the delegation briefed the Union Ministers on the current political scenario, security situation, development priorities and public welfare concerns in Jammu & Kashmir. Extensive discussions were also held on matters related to the overall development, peace, security and prosperity of J&K.
The meeting also focused on issues of public welfare and development, with emphasis on strengthening efforts aimed at improving the lives of people across Jammu & Kashmir.
It was reiterated that the Central Government remains fully committed to the progress, peace and prosperity of Jammu & Kashmir and continues to attach priority to the region’s development and security.
BJP National General Secretary and J&K In-charge Tarun Chugh, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP J&K President Sat Sharma, and Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma were also present during the meeting.
