Renowned cardiologist Dr. Nikhil Mahajan was honoured with the prestigious “Doctor of the Year Award” at the General Zorawar Singh Award Ceremony 2026, held at Lemon Tree Hotel, Jammu.
The ceremony was organised by the General Zorawar Singh Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust to recognise individuals who have made notable contributions across different fields and to celebrate the enduring legacy of General Zorawar Singh.
The event was attended by several distinguished personalities, including Member of Parliament Shri Jugal Kishore Sharma, MLA Jammu East Shri Yudhvir Sethi, former MP Shri Lal Singh, DIG Jammu, and members of the fifth generation of General Zorawar Singh’s family. Fitness enthusiast Sidharth Gupta, along with other prominent personalities from public life, administration, healthcare and social sectors, was also present.
Dr. Nikhil Mahajan was recognised in the Doctor of the Year category for his contribution to healthcare and his continued commitment to providing quality cardiac care.
