The Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department has transferred and posted six Associate and Assistant Professors of Philosophy to various Government Degree Colleges with immediate effect.The transfers were ordered through Government Order No. 338-JK(HE) of 2026, issued on September 25, 2026, in accordance with the Transfer Policy for Faculty of the Higher Education Department notified on June 15, 2026.
Mohd Khaliq has been shifted from Government Degree College Rajouri to Government College for Women Parade, Jammu, replacing Dinesh Jamwal. Jamwal has been transferred from Government Women College Parade to Government Degree College Ramnagar, replacing Nazakit Hussain.
Nazakit Hussain, currently posted at Government Degree College Ramnagar, has been moved to Government Degree College Rajouri in place of Khaliq.
Saliha Shah has been transferred from Government Women College Baramulla to Government Degree College Bemina, replacing Mudasir Ahmad Tantray. Tantray has been posted to Government College for Women Baramulla in her place.
Ramesh Chander, presently at Government Women College Parade, Jammu, has been posted to Government Degree College Doda against an available vacancy.
The department said the faculty members would be deemed to have been relieved from their present places of posting.
