An earthquake of magnitude 3.1 on the Richter scale struck Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday night.
The earthquake occurred at 10:56 pm, with its epicentre located at latitude 33.292° North and longitude 75.893° East.
The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 5 kilometres.
No reports of loss of life or damage to property have been received so far.
