A high-level and result-oriented meeting was convened today in Srinagar under the leadership of BJP State President Sat Sharma and Former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta. The meeting marked a significant step toward reinforcing the party’s presence and influence in Jammu and Kashmir and deliberated on various issues critical to the socio-political landscape of the Union Territory.
During the discussions, the senior BJP leaders reviewed the current organizational structure and stressed the need to strengthen the BJP at the grassroots level.
A major highlight of the meeting was the detailed review of preparations for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
Sat Sharma, in his address, emphasized intensifying public outreach initiatives to build stronger connections with citizens and ensure that the vision of the party reaches every household across the region.
The BJP State President also called for coordinated efforts to ensure smooth conduct of the pilgrimage, including robust arrangements for security, accommodation, healthcare, and overall facilitation for the pilgrims. He also stressed the importance of cooperation between government agencies, local stakeholders, and the general public to make the Yatra a safe and spiritually fulfilling experience.
Kavinder Gupta reaffirmed the Bharatiya Janata Party’s unwavering commitment to the holistic development of Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing that the region’s progress remains a top priority for the party. He stated that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, unprecedented strides have been made in strengthening infrastructure, boosting employment opportunities, empowering youth, and improving public service delivery.
The former Deputy Chief Minister also underlined that peace, prosperity, and inclusive growth are not mere slogans but the core objectives of BJP’s governance model. He assured that every effort will be made to uplift all sections of society and foster lasting harmony in the Union Territory.
