Today on 22 July an information was received from a reliablesource developed by police that one person Baldev Singh s/o Sarwan Singh R/ODugga Arnas is into the business of selling and keeping in possession illicitliquor and has kept a huge quantity stored in his CAPD Ration depot. He isselling this liquor through a shop/Street cart run by his son Omkar Singh.

 Onthis information police party from police station Arnas led by SI Sunil SinghIC PP Dhansal raided the shop and recovered 48 bottles of 375ml DMT JK specialwhisky. Seeing police party Omkar Singh along with his partner fled from thespot.Police also recovered Rs 7365 cash from the shop. 

After that police raidedthe Ration depot of CAPD run by Baldev Singh and recovered 274 bottles of Rumand DMT JK special whisky. Police also recovered one Mahindra Camper Bolerowhich they were using to shift liquor from store to shop. In this regard a caseFIR no. 56/19 u/s 48(a)(f) Excise Act was registered and investigation has beenset into motion. The whole operation was led by SHO police station Arnas InspSR Langeh under the supervision of SDPO Arnas Dr satish bhardwaj JKPS andoverall supervision of SSP Reasi Smt Nisha Nathyal JKPS.
