As Per the order issued by the Home Ministry, 5 officers have been notionally placed in the Selection Grade from 01.01.2024 while 7 officers have been notionally placed in selection grade from 01.01.2025. The promotion to the selection grade has been made based on the recommendations of the Screening committee made on 19.12.2024.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has ordered promotion of five senior IPS officers of the AGMUT Cadre, currently posted in Jammu and Kashmir, to the rank of DIGP in level 13A of the pay matrix. Those officers who are promoted are Maqsood-ul-Zaman, Mubassir Latifi Ameer, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Rashmi Wazir, and Rajeshwar Singh.
