
Former BJP state President Sat Sharma assures construction of community hall at Guru Ravi Das Mandir
Jammu: In order to check the basic amenities provided to the inhabitants of Ward 17, Former State President BJP and Ex Minister, Sat Sharma(CA) visited Pacca Talab area of Ward and interacted with many locals of the ward. He was also accompanied by Coprorator Ward 17 Nidhi Magotra, Corporator Ward 18 Dinesh Gupta, Ex Corporator Balwan Singh and other social and political activists of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that an extensive tour was conducted in the area along with the inhabitants and political activists and basic problems including sanitation was checked in the area. He said concerned officer of JMC has been told to depute the Safai Karamacharis regularly in the area so that cleanliness could prevail in the surroundings. He also took stock of other grievances as well.
He also stated that a visit was also made to the Guru Ravi Dass Mandir where a Bhandara was organized by the locals and he also said that a community hall was sanctioned in Guru Ravi Dass Mandir whose work will be started in some days after MCC (Model Code of Conduct) is lifted and the concerned department will take it up so that its benefits could be availed by the inhabitants of other adjoining wards also as community halls can cater with the needs of every segment of the society and every type of function or program can be conducted in the same and that too at a nominal price.
Dinesh Gupta and Nidhi Magotra focused on the developmental works done in their areas by Former MLA including construction of roads including lanes, installation of new transformers and changing of water pipes. They also said there are some basic pending works as well which will be taken up in coming days in order to avoid public distress and both wards will be equipped with all facilities which are required to make a Model ward.
District General Secretary BJP Sanjeev Sharma, Kumta Babaji, Vijay Slathia, Onkar Singh Bose, Tilak Raj, Aman Kumar, Gourav Kumar, Ritvik Singh, Joginder, Manoha and several others were also present.
