Vice President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan arrived in Leh today on his first official visit to Ladakh .The Vice President was accorded a warm welcome on his arrival at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport.
The Vice President was received at the airport by Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Vinai Kumar Saxena, Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Ladakh Mohmad Haneefa, and other dignitaries.
During his visit, Vice President will participate in the International Day of Yoga celebrations in Leh on 21st June.
