Director General (DG) Dilbagh Singh on Thursday led Jammu and Kashmir police to pay glowing tributes to former IPS officer of J&K cadre M K Mohanti-1971 batch who breathed his last.
A police spokesman said this afternoon that a condolence meeting to mourn sad demise of Mohanti-1971 Batch IPS officer of J&K cadre at Police Headquarters Srinagar. However, he could not confirm when and where Mr Mohanti died.
He said DGP Singh chaired the condolences meeting which was attended by Senior officers of department.
Glowing tributes were paid to departed officer.
