PM Modi started two days to his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh by holding a roadshow. This comes a day before PM Modi will file his election papers to contest the Lok Sabha elections.
Modi took two and a half hour to cover 7 Kms before ending his roadshow at one of the most pious ghats of Kashi I.e.Dhasasvmedh Ghat where Ganga Aarti was performed.
Modi sat and watched the Aarti along with Amit Shah, Yogi Adityanath and other senior BJP leaders. Since Kashi is famous for narrow Roads, a lot of diversions were made for the roadshow but only a few complained of the inconvenience. Local shopkeepers told reporters that large number of flowers were distributed to be showered upon the Convoy by the BJP workers. A large number of youth wearing Tshirts supporting Modi were also a common sight during the roadshow.
