Security forces launch search operation in south Kashmir's Anantnag

Security forces on Friday launched a search operation inSeer Hamdan area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir.

An official said that the searches were jointly launched bythe Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Central ReservePolice Force (CRPF) and Rashtriya Rifles of the Army. He said that all entryand exit points to the area have been sealed by the forces.

Seer Hamdan is located on Khanabal-Pahalgam (KP) road, 15kilometers from Anantnag town. Door-to-door searches were going-on when thisreport was being filed.
