Demonstrating remarkable endurance and sporting spirit, Abhinav Anand, President of Traders Association Trikuta Nagar Jammu and Co-Convenor of Trade Cell BJP (J&K), delivered an impressive performance at the prestigious Jammu Marathon 2026 organized by J&K Tourism.

Competing alongside skilled runners from across the country, Abhinav Anand secured the Runner-Up position in the 5K category, marking a proud achievement for the region’s trading community as well as the local sports fraternity.

The marathon was ceremoniously flagged off by Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, reflecting the administration’s continued support for promoting sports and fitness in the Union Territory. During the prize distribution ceremony, Abhinav Anand was felicitated with a medal by Hon’ble Sports Minister Satish Sharma, in the presence of the Hon’ble Lt. Governor.

Expressing his gratitude, Abhinav Anand thanked the organizers and the entire sports department for hosting such a Fantastic and inspiring event, emphasizing the importance of initiatives that encourage youth participation and healthy living.
