An army jawan died on Sunday morning in an accidental fire in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police sources said that a jawan hailing from Rajasthan was found in a pool of blood with a critical bullet injury and was immediately shifted to the nearby hospital, but was declared as brought dead.
"Accidental fire was initially ascertained to be the cause of death," they said, adding that a case has been registered and an investigation started.
