Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization), J&K BJP, chaired the twin meetings of the office bearers of Anantnag and Shopian districts at Church Lane, Srinagar.
J&K BJP General Secretary Anwar Khan, Secretaries Mudasir Wani and Arif Raja, District President Anantnag Rakesh Koul, and District President Shopian Raja Waseem Kundalan, along with the entire district teams, attended the meeting.
While addressing the meeting, Ashok Koul stressed the need for organizational strengthening in both the districts at the grassroots level. He said the party has succeeded in gaining the trust and respectable support of the common people in the last Assembly elections in both districts as well as across the Kashmir Valley. He added that while the decisive and people-centric governance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been appreciated across all quarters, it is the prime responsibility of the party’s office bearers to ensure that the benefits of these public-oriented schemes reach the actual needy population, even in the remotest parts of the region.
He further emphasized the responsibility of party leaders to acquaint themselves with the policies and ideology of the BJP and to convey the same effectively to the public.
Anwar Khan urged party leaders to devote as much time as possible to work for the people and the organization, noting that their actions will speak louder than words in the eyes of the masses. He asked them to remain connected with the people at the grassroots level.
Rakesh Koul and Raja Waseem Kundalan assured the senior leadership that the district units will leave no stone unturned in reaching out to the people. They expressed confidence that more and more individuals will join hands with the party to contribute to nation-building.
