A comprehensive crime review meeting was held yesterday at District Police Lines (DPL), Jammu, under the chairmanship of Worthy DIG Sh Shridhar Patil IPS, JKS Range.

During the meeting, SSP Jammu Shri Joginder Singh gave a presentation about the overall law and order and crime across Jammu.

The DIG emphasized the importance of maintaining strict law and order, enhancing police visibility, and ensuring prompt response to incidents. Special focus was laid on tackling narcotics-related cases, preventing thefts, and controlling other criminal activities.

Officers were directed to intensify patrolling, strengthen naka checking, and ensure effective surveillance in sensitive areas. The DIG also stressed the need for timely investigation and disposal of pending cases, with a focus on improving conviction rates.
