Dr. KD Multispeciality Hospital successfully organized a mega Chess Tournament, witnessing an overwhelming participation of 500 chess players from different regions. 
The event was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Satish Sharma, Hon’ble Sports Minister, who appreciated the hospital management for taking such a commendable initiative to encourage mind sports like chess. 
The tournament was conducted under the esteemed presence of Shri Atul Kumar Gupta, Chairman, Planning & Development Commission, All India Chess Federation, and Ms. Meenal Gupta, President, All Jammu & Kashmir Chess Association, who applauded the large participation and smooth conduct of the event.
The award distribution ceremony was graced by Shri Vikram Randhawa, Hon’ble MLA, who congratulated the winners and participants and encouraged them to continue excelling in the field of chess.
On this occasion, Chairperson Dr. K. D. Singh highlighted the hospital’s commitment towards community welfare and holistic development through healthcare and sports initiatives.
