Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday said the Central Government is fully prepared to hold a comprehensive discussion in Parliament on the NEET examination paper leak and all related issues.

Speaking to the media, Rijiju said the government has been ready for such a discussion from the very beginning, emphasizing that any matter concerning the national interest and the future of the country's youth deserves serious deliberation.

He, however, stressed that the discussion should take place in accordance with parliamentary rules, which must be decided in consultation with the Speaker and all political parties.

Rijiju criticized attempts to take the issue "to the streets" and create disruptions, saying such actions do not serve the purpose of constructive debate. Instead, he called for a meaningful and orderly discussion inside Parliament."The government wants a thorough discussion on the NEET paper leak and the measures taken to address it. 

Citizens have every right to know what actions the government has taken. If the issue is not discussed in Parliament, how will people receive that information?" he said.

The minister further added that all parties should work together with the Speaker to finalize the rules governing the debate, while making it clear that the government is willing to continue the discussion for as long as necessary."The debate should begin as soon as possible and continue for as long as it takes," Rijiju said.
