A condolence meeting was organized at the Institution of Engineers (India), Jammu Local Centre today on 27th November to pay tributes to Er. Braj Bhushan Sharma, FIE; Former Chairman of this Centre. A large number of engineers from various walks of life attended this meet. Er. Anil Verma, FIE; Chairman, Er. Avneet Gupta; MIE; Honorary Secretary besides Committee Members of Jammu Local Centre were present.
The exemplary qualities of Er. B. B. Sharma were fondly remembered by various engineers present in the house. His tremendous contributions for Jammu Centre were remembered and they will be a stepping stone for further growth of Jammu Centre. His departure is a colossal loss for his family, friends and the Jammu Local Centre. The civil society in general and engineering society in particular will find it extremely difficult to fill the void left by his untimely departure.
In the end, a two minutes Memorial Service along with floral tributes were paid in his honour to grant peace to the departed soul and fortitude to the bereaved family members to bear this loss.
