The Traffic Police on Saturday said that the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NHW) remains closed due to ongoing restoration work, advising commuters to avoid travel until the road is fully restored.
Authorities have also confirmed that several other key routes, including the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) Road, Bhaderwah-Chamba Road, Mughal Road, and Sinthan Road, remain closed due to adverse conditions.
Travelers are urged to check real-time updates on the official Twitter handle and Facebook page of the Traffic Police or contact Traffic Control Units (TCUs) before planning their journeys.
Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and will issue further advisories as restoration efforts progress.
