In compliance to the directions of Jammu & Kashmir Legal Services Authority, a special Lok Adalat on Criminal Compoundable cases was today held under the Chairmanship of R. N. Watal (Pr. District & Sessions Judge- Jammu) and supervision of Maleeka Sharma, Secretary District Legal Services Authority.
In all, 18 Benches were constituted to hear the Criminal Compoundable cases.
A total of 130 cases of different nature were taken up, out of which 75 cases were settled. The total amount of Rs. 304,370 recovered.
