J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma chaired a meeting of senior party leaders and office bearers at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to assess and finalize preparations for the forthcoming broadcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat”, scheduled to be aired on Sunday, May 31.

J&K BJP General Secretary Sanjita Dogra, “Mann Ki Baat” Convener Vibodh Gupta, Secretary Arun Sharma, Treasurer Prabhat Singh Jamwal, All Cells Incharge Ved Sharma, Co-Incharge Munish Khajuria, senior leaders Veenu Khanna and Narayan Dutt Tripathi, Social Media Incharge Dr. Makson Tickoo, IT Incharge Gourav Balgotra, along with several other senior functionaries participated in the meeting.

Sat Sharma, while reviewing the preparations, directed party leaders to ensure widespread organization of mass programmes at booth levels throughout Jammu and Kashmir. He said the initiative has become one of the most effective mediums through which Prime Minister Narendra Modi establishes a direct emotional and intellectual connection with citizens across the country.

Sharma remarked that through “Mann Ki Baat”, the Prime Minister regularly highlights subjects linked to social transformation, innovation, environmental protection, youth participation, women empowerment, healthcare awareness, cultural pride, and citizen-led development. He added that the programme consistently motivates people to contribute positively towards national progress.

Sat Sharma further stated that the radio programme has emerged as a platform that recognizes inspiring efforts of common citizens and brings local success stories to national attention. He stated that several nationwide campaigns, including cleanliness drives, promotion of indigenous products, water conservation, fitness awareness, and environmental consciousness, received tremendous public momentum after being highlighted in “Mann Ki Baat”.

Sat Sharma asked the party leaders to involve people from every section of society so that the Prime Minister’s message of collective responsibility and inclusive development reaches every household across the Union Territory.

Vibodh Gupta, while speaking during the meeting, emphasized the importance of effective booth-level coordination and smooth organizational arrangements for the programme. He said BJP workers are enthusiastically preparing across Jammu and Kashmir to ensure that the upcoming episode witnesses extensive outreach and active public engagement.
