The Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered the promotion of 1995 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer Shailendra Kumar to the Apex Scale (Level-17 in the Pay Matrix) with effect from September 1, 2025, or from the date of assumption of charge, whichever is later.
Kumar, who has earlier served Jammu and Kashmir in key roles including Principal Secretary to Agriculture and PWD, is currently posted in the cadre.
