Jammu and Kashmir National Conference leader Omar Abdullah on Wednesday offered Eid-ul-Azha prayers at the revered Asar-e-Sharief Dargah Hazratbal in Srinagar along with his father and JKNC president Dr. Farooq Abdullah.
Earlier in the day, the leaders visited Mazar-e-Qaid at Naseem Bagh and offered Fatiha at the Mazaraat-e-Anwar of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and Madar-e-Meharban.
On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Omar Abdullah prayed for peace, prosperity and wellbeing of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and extended warm Eid greetings to the people across the region.
He expressed hope that the festival would further strengthen the spirit of brotherhood, harmony and unity among the people.
