The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, has ordered the transfer of two IAS officers of the AGMUT Cadre from Jammu and Kashmir to Ladakh with immediate effect.
According to an official order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on November 6, 2026, with the approval of the Competent Authority, the posting and transfer of the following officers have been ordered until further orders.Rakesh Minhas, IAS (AGMUT: 2016) – Transferred from Jammu and Kashmir to Ladakh.Faz Lul Haseeb, IAS (AGMUT: 2018) – Transferred from Jammu and Kashmir to Ladakh.
The order has been issued under File No. F.No.15041/08/2023-UTS.I and signed by Rakesh Kumar Singh, Under Secretary to the Government of India.
The Ministry has directed that the order be communicated to the officers concerned through the Chief Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir, with copies forwarded to the Chief Secretaries of the respective Union Territories and other concerned authorities for necessary action.
Both transfers will take effect immediately and remain in force until further orders.
