The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit -1 of the PSPS GCW, Gandhinagar organised the valedictory ceremony of the 7 days long winter camp from 24th March-30th March, 2026.
The event commenced on an energetic note with the exuberant NSS clap, setting the tone for a celebration of dedication and collective spirit. The ceremony formally began with the felicitation of the esteemed Principal, Dr. Kulvinder Kaur, along with Prof. Amitpal Kaur (NSS Coordinator, CLUJ) and Prof. Rabia Javed (DSW) for acknowledging their constant support and encouragement throughout the camp.
Their presence added grace and significance to the occasion. The event further proceeded with the presentation of the detailed camp report by the NSS Programme Officer, Dr. Suraj Mohani Jamwal, who highlighted the various activities, achievements, and learning outcomes of the camp. The report encapsulated the spirit of service and the meaningful contributions made during the camp.
One of the most cherished moments of the event was the screening of a thoughtfully curated video that captured the essence of the entire winter camp. The visual journey reflected the enthusiasm, teamwork, and impactful activities carried out by the volunteers over the course of the camp.
Dr. Kulvinder Kour (Principal) appreciated the efforts of the NSS programme officer and emphasized the importance of social responsibility and youth participation in nation-building.
Prof. Amitpal Kour (NSS Coordinator) motivated the students with her words of wisdom. Student volunteers also shared their heartfelt feedback, expressing how the camp had been a transformative and enriching experience for them.
The valedictory ceremony concluded on a deeply positive and fulfilling note with the presentation of certificates, followed by the NSS pledge. The event was a true reflection of the NSS motto, “Not Me, But You,” and reaffirmed the commitment of young minds towards building a better society.
