Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi and held detailed discussions on several important issues related to Jammu and Kashmir, including restoration of statehood, Transaction of Business Rules, rationalisation of reservation and other governance-related matters.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister highlighted various public welfare and administrative concerns and stressed the need for addressing key issues affecting the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The discussions also focused on the prevailing security and economic situation in the Union Territory. Both leaders reviewed measures aimed at maintaining peace, stability and ensuring inclusive development across Jammu and Kashmir.
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts for strengthening governance and accelerating developmental activities for the welfare of the people.
