Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed profound grief over the tragic death of Tabasum Mushtaq, a promising student from GDC Sogam, who lost her life in a bus accident near Handwara on Friday.
Calling it a heartbreaking tragedy, Omar said, “The loss of young Tabasum Mushtaq is a tragedy that weighs heavily on all of us.
My deepest condolences to her family in this hour of grief. Prayers for the swift recovery of the injured.”
He assured that the situation is being closely monitored and that all necessary assistance is being provided to the injured and their families. Several injured students are undergoing treatment at GMC Handwara and GMC Srinagar.
