Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir President and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Sat Sharma (CA), chaired a crucial meeting of party activists and prominent locals at Dansal in Nagrota Assembly Constituency to strategize for the upcoming by-election.
The meeting was attended by District President Nand Kishore, District General Secretary Raveesh Mengi, Mandal President (Dansal) Vikas Gupta, Mandal General Secretary Hari Om, Uttam Singh, Capt. Karnail Singh, Balwant Singh, Vijay Gupta, Maheshwar Singh, Mohan Lal Gupta, Kuldeep Sharma, Pankaj Sharma, and several other senior BJP functionaries.
Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma asserted that the people of Nagrota will ensure a historic and decisive victory for BJP candidate Devyani Rana, daughter of late MLA Devender Singh Rana, whose contribution and service to the people are still remembered with deep respect. He said that Devyani Rana has stood shoulder to shoulder with the people in their every struggle and celebration. Her commitment to public service is genuine, and she carries forward her father’s legacy with humility and strength, he added.
Sharma emphasized that the BJP cadre is the party’s backbone, deeply connected with every village, ward, and mohalla of Nagrota. He said that party activists are working day and night to take the message of development, nationalism, and self-reliance to every household. Their discipline, sincerity, and unwavering belief in Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s vision will ensure BJP’s landslide victory in this by-election, he stated.
Taking a sharp dig at the National Conference (NC), Sharma said the NC has betrayed public trust through false promises and divisive politics. The people are tired of their lies and opportunism. They want stable, transparent, and accountable governance and that is what only BJP stands for, he said.
Speaking on the occasion, District President Nand Kishore reaffirmed the BJP cadre’s unflinching loyalty to the nation. He said that the BJP activists always stand firm in service to the nation and are ready to serve under any circumstances. He said that the people will decisively defeat the anti-national forces that try to mislead society. While thanking party president for the thorough deliberations during the visit, he assured that he, along with the entire team, will ensure a massive victory margin for Devyani Rana.
