A piping ceremony of Constables promoted to the rank of Selection Grade Constable was held today at the Zonal Police Headquarters (ZPHQ), Jammu.

The promoted officials were decorated with their new ranks by Bhim Sen Tuti, Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, in the presence of senior officers and staff of ZPHQ Jammu.

While congratulating the promoted personnel, the IGP Jammu emphasised that promotion brings with it enhanced responsibility and new professional challenges. He expressed confidence that the promoted officials would continue to discharge their duties with dedication, commitment and professionalism. He wished them success in their future assignments.

The officials promoted to the rank of Selection Grade Constable included SgCts Rajan Sharma, Harpreet Singh, Kamal Abroal, Vipan Saini, Sumit Jagtyal and Jatinder Singh.

Himanshu Mahajan, Sr Prosecuting Officer; Mukesh Sharma, Accounts Officer; Janardhan Salathia, Pvt Secy to IGP Jammu; S. Narinder Singh, Dy.SP (M), ADO and Inspr Mohd Sadiq, IC Crime, ZPHQ Jammu were also present on the occasion.
