The Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit, expanding its campaign to make Jammu and Kashmir free of Bangladeshis and Rohingyas, today in the Bari Brahmana area of Jammu.
A team of party leaders, led by party state president Manish Sahni, held placards reading 'Save Jammu - Drive out Rohingyas' near the Bari Brahmana railway station today, raising awareness among street vendors about identifying suspected illegal immigrants and distributing 'Mai Bhartiya - Mera Bharat Mahan' stickers.
Sahni said that information was received that Rohingyas and Bangladeshis were illegally setting up stalls in the area.
This information was confirmed when some suspects fled, abandoning their belongings, upon sensing the presence of Shiv Sena members. The angry Shiv Sena members then set the abandoned belongings on fire.
Sahni said that Rohingyas and Bangladeshis are establishing their colonies in the outskirts of Jammu, which is a serious threat to the internal security of Jammu. These people are usurping our resources and tarnishing Jammu's image through theft, criminal activities, and illegal businesses like drug trafficking.
Sahni warned the Rohingyas and Bangladeshis to leave Jammu and Kashmir and India as soon as possible.
Sahni said that the concerned police station had been informed before the start of the campaign. On this occasion Vikas Bkashi, Raj Singh, Sanjeev Kohli, Balwant Singh Shashipal, Pawan Singh , Varinder Kumar, Rajinder Kumar, Saharoj, Abhishek , Ankit Kumar and mamy others were present.
