District Udhampur has secured 1st rank in July 2025 in the implementation of Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the Jammu and Kashmir UT.
The information was given by Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai while chairing a review meeting today to assess the implementation of the Programme in the district.
The meeting aimed to strengthen inter-sectoral coordination and ensure the timely and effective execution of key government initiatives to benefit the farming community.
During the meeting, officers from stakeholder departments presented updates on the physical and financial progress under HADP along with the future action plans.
She directed the concerned departments to take proactive measures to bridge any deficiencies and ensure maximum acceptance of application and farmer coverage under these schemes.
Highlighting the importance of a collaborative approach, the DC stressed on inter-departmental coordination, robust field-level monitoring and direct farmer engagement to realize the goals of sustainable and inclusive agricultural development.
