Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP, today stated that the party’s initiative ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ is not only a blueprint for national integration but also a profound vision aimed at fostering lasting world peace.

He was addressing a meeting of senior party leaders Baldev Singh Billawaria, former Dy Mayor & J&K Incharge for “Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat” Abhiyan along with administrative District Jammu Convenor Munish Khajuria, and District President Adv. Rajesh Gupta, State Publicity Secretary Ajay Vaid, and others at party office, Kachi Chawni, Jammu.

Sat Sharma said, “Once we realize the vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’, it will lead us for the global peace which is the need of the hour. The one ness and the emotional integration of the entire countrymen has been recently witnessed in the infamous ‘Pahalgam’ massacre which not only shocked the entire country but brought emotionally everyone on one platform irrespective of caste, creed and religion, which is the testimony of the vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat’. The entire countrymen today stood as a family and the pain of fellow Indians in the South has been felt in the extreme North of the country and vice-versa”.

Sharma stressed that presently, the whole world is marred by the deadly infestation by terrorism and unrest, and the concept of ‘unity inspite of having differences’ is the key to peaceful co-existence.

Addressing the meeting, Sat Sharma said that since the time immemorial Bharat has been longing for Vasudev Kutumbakam, as a result of this, it is imperative for India as a nation, to make ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’.

Sharma highlighted that the BJP’s efforts to promote unity among India's diverse cultures, languages, and communities are essential steps toward building a stronger, more harmonious global society. "When a country of India's vast diversity stands united, it sends a powerful message of peace and solidarity to the world," Sharma said.

He further emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is embracing its role as a global ambassador of peace, mutual respect, and cooperative development. "Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat strengthens our internal bonds, but its spirit extends beyond our borders, encouraging peaceful coexistence and understanding among nations," he added.

District General Secretaries Ravikant and Suneet Raina, Ramesh Gupta, Incharge Jammu North District, Convenor organizational District Jammu Kuldeep Kandhari, Arun Sethi, Neelam Nargotra, Asha Gupta, Neelam Nargotra, Brahmjot Satti, Adarsh Jathiar, Kushant Prajapati, Keshav Chopra, Dr. Akshay Sharma, Raman, Vijay Anand Gill, Ravinder Singh, and others attended the meeting.
