Katra, J&K | CEO of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Anshul Garg says, "As the situation is getting better, the number of devotees is also increasing. Jammu Airport has resumed its operations. Civilian flights have started and on the same lines, we have also resumed our heli services today.
Apart from the online bookings, devotees were availing air services from the current counter. All the services provided by the Board for the devotees are being ensured and we hope that the number of devotees will increase in the coming days.
Very detailed security arrangements are made from Katra to Bhavan... If I talk about Aarti, these days the number of devotees is less, so as a special measure, we are providing free services to our devotees in Garbhjoon Aarti and Attaka Aarti from walk-in counters on first come first serve basis... The board has made elaborate security arrangements in Katra and on the entire route. All arrangements are under the supervision of the police and CRPF, whether it is security inside Katra or on the entire route, whether it is our CCTV Integrated Surveillance Grade, Integrated Command and Control Center.
Our team is working on all the recommendations that came after the joint security review and our endeavour is to ensure that devotees get a good environment and have a safe travel experience. I would appeal that the board has made very elaborate arrangements and we hope that devotees will enjoy these facilities in the coming days."
