Joint security forces on late Saturday evening busted a terrorist hideout in the Suchliwaran forest area of north Kashmir, police said.A top police officer confirmed that the joint search operation was launched on based on specific and credible information security forces was Baramulla. During the operation, a hideout was detected and subsequently searched thoroughly.
A cache of arms, ammunition and other materials was recovered from the hideout, which was later destroyed on the spot, the officer added.
Security agencies have initiated further investigation to ascertain the ownership and intended use of the recovered materials. the officer added.
