The Volleyball Tournament, organised by Jammu Police under the aegis of Civic Action Programme 2024-25, concluded today at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Arnia. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of 8 teams and drew a large crowd of local spectators.

SP Headquarters Jammu, Irshad Hussain Rather was the  Chief Guest at the concluding event which was also attended by SDPO R.S Pura S. Gurmeet Singh, SHO Arnia Sunil Dutt and other officers of Headquarter Zone,  members of media fraternity and prominent figures of the area.

The final match was played between Arnia & Pindi Charka, with Pindi Charka emerging as the champions by defeating Arnia 2-1 in a thrilling competition.

The winning and runner-up teams were awarded with cash prizes, trophies and other sports accessories.

Speaking on the occasion, SP Headquarters Jammu emphasized that J&K Police is committed to engage with youth through sports activities as a constructive initiative to steer them away from drug abuse & other social evils. The event received widespread appreciation from the local community, particularly the youth, who hailed the police for promoting positive and healthy engagements in Bishnah and adjacent areas.
